That’s why TMC continues to invest in technology. Through strategic partnerships with Siemens Medical Solutions and Cerner Corporation, we have the ability to ensure faster, more informed clinical decisions and improve patient outcomes through computerized physician order entry, digital radiology equipment and electronic medical records. And our commitments are not going unnoticed:

  • Truman Medical Centers/UMKC School of Medicine has been designated as a National Center of Excellence in Women’s Health by the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services.
  • Truman Medical Centers received the National Association of Public Health Safety Net Workforce Award for the Corporate Academy and the Cyber Café.
  • Truman Medical Centers received Gold Status from the Missouri Medicare Quality Improvement Organization, Primaris, for quality clinical performance in heart attack, heart failure, pneumonia and infection rates. The home health division, TrumanCare Home Health and several TMC physicians, Dr. Carl Davis, Dr. George D. Harris, Dr. Elyse Kernis and Dr. Rebecca Turner, received honored recognition status.
  • The TMC Center for the Healing Arts received the Partnership Award by the Kansas City Business Committee for the Arts.
