Dr. Adam Kramer Joins TMC Lakewood and Performs One of the First da Vinci Robotic Surgeries

Adam Kramer, DO, of Advanced Surgical Associates have partnered with Truman Medical Center (TMC) Lakewood, allowing for admission/discharge privileges and to utilize the facilities of the state-of-the-art TMC Lakewood Surgical Center including the da Vinci SI Surgical System. Dr. Kramer will continue to see their patients for pre and post-operative care at their Lee’s Summit clinical offices.

Adam Kramer, DO, is a board certified general surgeon who graduated from Des Moines University-College of Osteopathic Medicine. He then completed his residency at Cuyahoga Falls General Hospital in Ohio. After completion of his residency in 2000, he moved to Kansas City and joined Advanced Surgical Associates.
 
“The location of TMC Lakewood, the expertise of the staff, efficiency of the facility and the ability to take advantage of technology such as the da Vinci Surgery system made choosing TMC Lakewood easy for us and our patients,” Dr. Kramer said. “I performed the first single-site da Vinci Surgery utilizing the Firefly Fluorescence system for a gallbladder removal at the Lakewood Surgery Center and it couldn’t have gone better. Having this technology available for our patients provides them with less pain, better care, better recovery times and overall better outcomes.”
 
Dr. Kramer will perform the full spectrum of general surgical procedures at the TMC Lakewood surgery center including breast cancer, gallbladder, colon, stomach and skin lesion repair utilizing state-of-the-art technology and equipment such as the da Vinci Surgical System.
