Dental Residency

Truman Medical Center Lakewood sponsors a one year General Practice Residency in Dentistry. It is fully accredited by the Commission on Dental Accreditation of the American Dental Association. This program is affiliated with UMKC School of Dentistry and provides the first year training for the Oral and Maxillofacial Radiology program at UMKC. For more information, please click here:

Pharmacy Practice Residency

Pharmacists completing this residency will be competent and confident pharmacy practitioners of direct patient care in various environments. They will be able to provide drug information to any health care team, possess independent leadership skills, teaching skills and communicate well in personal and group settings. They will demonstrate professional and personal maturity by following a philosophy of professional practice, monitoring their own performance, exhibiting a commitment to the profession, and exercising leadership in improving the safety of the medication use system.

Continuing Medical Education

Truman Medical Centers sponsor various learning opportunities for medical professionals.
