Executive Director, TMC Charitable Foundation
Karlyn Wilkins is the executive director of the TMC Charitable
Foundation. In this role, she leads fundraising programs designed to
advance TMC’s mission. The Charitable Foundation provides support for
each of TMC’s primary facilities through grants from charitable
foundations, corporate and individual philanthropy and special events.
Prior to joining TMC, Wilkins served as Director of Major and
Leadership Gifts for the University of Missouri – Kansas City Henry W.
Bloch School of Management. She has also served on the Dean’s Board of
Advisors, managed alumni relations and supported numerous special events
including producing the Henry W. Bloch documentary, No Shortcuts: The
Entrepreneurial Life Henry Bloch.
Previously, she held the role of Marketing Manager – New Business
Development for Hallmark Cards. In this role she was responsible for the
launch of a $40 million gift and card product - Maya Angelou Life
Mosaic. She has also served as Director of Corporate Development and
Sponsorship Marketing at the Goodman Theatre in Chicago, IL and worked
in brand marketing at General Foods in White Plains, NY and with Helene
Curtis in Chicago, IL.
Wilkins earned a bachelor’s degree in political science from
Northwestern University and an MBA in marketing from the Kellogg School
of Management, Northwestern University.
