A quarterly, full-color magazine for staff, donors and friends of TMC
highlighting new services, staff or exciting new additions to the Truman
Medical Center System.
Spring 2013
This issue highlights the overwhelmingly positive outcome of the
April vote on Question 1, that renewed the approximately one-third of
Kansas City's Health Levy that was set to expire at the end of 2014.
Also included in this issue are articles about the outstanding response
by TMC staff to the back-to-back blizzards that hit the Kansas City area
this winter and Associated Women's Care Physicians bringing their
services to the Lakewood Family Birthplace.

Fall 2012
This issue highlights the recently launched TMC Health Harvest Mobile
Market. The converted former Kansas City ATA bus travels the metro two
days a week making a total of nine stops. The bus is stocked with the
same fresh fruits and vegetables that are available at the weekly
Healthy Harvest Market at TMC Hospital Hill. Also in this issue are
articles about the TMC Lakewood Evening Under the Stars event, TMC being
one of the top performers in the Robert Wood Johnson Aligning Forces for
Quality Collaborative and the retirement of TMC Hospital Hill COO Cathy
Disch and the welcoming of new Senior Vice President of Clinical
Coordination Dr. Mark McPhee.

This issue highlights the 2012 TMC Charitable Foundation's Fashion For a
Cause event held at the Kauffman Center for the Performing Arts and
included special celebrity guest, Giuliana Rancic. Also in this issue
are articles about the new Bright Futures program at TMC Hospital Hill
that helps to give a healthy start to newborns and their moms and the
2012 Touchdown Family Fest, Health and Wellness event at Arrowhead
Stadium.
