TMC and The Kansas City Chiefs
The Kansas City Chiefs and Truman
Medical Centers have formed a long-term partnership to improve the health of
the 
Kansas
City community, especially those residents who live in the urban core.
Through a variety of programs, Kansas City residents will be exposed to
educational seminars, nutrition improvement, health fairs, community
discussions, health care improvement programs and screenings, chronic
disease management and more.
Members of the Chiefs organization help bring this program to life,
including current and former Chiefs players, KC Wolf and the Chiefs
Cheerleaders, and media personalities. Additionally, proceeds from the 101
Annual Banquet will be directed toward the partnership programs.
Touchdown Family Fest
One of the products of Chiefs partnership is the annual Touchdown Family
Fest, a Health and Wellness extravaganza that features health screenings and
education, sports physicals, healthy treats and lots of fun.
