We have amazing childbirth classes TMC Hospital Hill. It is recommended
that you take Pregnancy Basics in your first trimester. The other three core
classes (Delivery basics, Breastfeeding Basics and Infant Care basics)
should be taken after 28 weeks of pregnancy. All of our classes are free. No
need to register, just show up. Classes are held in the Family Education
Center on the 6th floor in the Women's Specialty Clinic. If you have any

Please take advantage of this free program. Bring your significant other
and get prepared for your impending bundle of joy. Not only will you
learn important information, you also can earn stamps towards our Bright
Futures Program, which provides multiple benefits including a $25 gift card
to Walgreens (with 10 stamps) and a free toddler car seat.
( 20 stamps).
In the case of inclement weather, we will
follow the schedule of the Kansas City (Mo.) Public School District. If the
school district cancels classes due to weather, no childbirth education
classes will be held.
We offer a variety of classes, which are held in the Youngblood Conference Room on the 6th Floor
of the hospital. Signs will be posted on class days.
