Whether pregnant, facing illness, or just in need of a check-up, the TMC Lakewood women's health programs are available to deliver, diagnose, and treat women throughout every phase of life from adolescence through the senior years. A comprehensive range of primary, preventive and specialty care services are delivered in Lakewood's outpatient medical clinics, and in the Pavilion.  While Family Practice specialists or a Nurse Midwife provide much of the preventive or well-care, acute care and routine OB care, specialists are available on site to address more serious women's health issues. Primary care providers can arrange for referrals to specialists as needed. 

Maternity Services

Vitally important to TMC Lakewood's women's health program is its maternity program. Committed to helping mom and baby get off to a strong and healthy start, the Lakewood Family Birthplace provides the optimum in family-centered birthing services. The birthing center is staffed by a team of highly experienced nurses as well as a medical team featuring board-certified obstetricians and family mediicne physicians, and certified nurse mid-wives.
